2019 Phil Steele's FCS All-America Teams
 
Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham University freshman wide receiver Dequece Carter was named to the 2019 Third Team Phi Steele FCS Freshman All-America Team it was announced recently. He is one of five Patriot Leaguers named to the team
 
Dequece Carter (Fr., Louisa, Va./Woodberry Forest School)
• Caught 53 passes for 723 yards and five touchdowns
• Led team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns and second in receptions
• Set school freshman record for most receptions and most receiving yards
• Ranked fourth in the Patriot League in receiving yards and sixth in receiving yards/game (60.3)
• Ranked seventh in the Patriot League in receptions/game (4.4)
