Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2019 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by hosting the University of Richmond Spiders on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, September 28, at 1:00 p.m. for Family Weekend.
Â

The game is being presented by Belmont Realty and Apple Bank. Apple Bank will be giving away a Fordham Sweatshirt to the first 1,500 students who stop by their table inside Gate A.Â
Â
The game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network with Andrew Bogusch (p-b-p) and Dominic Capone (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (p-b-p), Devin Clementi (color) and Jack Regan (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.
Â
Fordham enters the game with a 1-3 record, following a 45-10 loss at Stony Brook University last Saturday, while Richmond is 1-2 on the year, following a 42-20 loss to #25 Elon University in Richmond on September 14.
Â
This will be the third meeting between Fordham and Richmond on the gridiron with the Spiders leading the all-time series, 1-0-1. The Spiders took last year's meeting, 52-7, in Richmond on September 8 as Kevin Johnson completed 14 of 21 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns and he ran for two more. The first meeting ended in a 3-3 tie on Jack Coffey Field as the two teams sloshed through a game that was affected by a tropical storm on October 21, 1995.
