Dimitris Koukias (Athens, Greece / Athens) and sophomore goalie
Bailey O'Mara (Darien, Conn. / Darien) taking Player and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively. This is O'Mara's second weekly award of 2019 and the first for Koukias.
The Rams played in the 2019 Bison Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, going 4-0 at the tournament with wins over #13 Bucknell, Salem International, LaSalle, and Wagner.
Koukias scored 15 goals and added one assist in the four games, highlighted by a five-goal game in the 17-15 win over #13 Bucknell. He also netted five goals and dished out an assist while drawing three ejections in a 13-9 win over Wagner and tallied three goals in an 11-8 win over Salem International.
O'Mara led Fordham to the 4-0 finish at the Bucknell Invitational, including recording eleven saves and having three steals and two penalty blocks in the Bucknell win. He made 13 saves and had two assists and one steal in a 13-9 win over Wagner and registered ten saves and added two steals and a penalty block in a 15-9 win over La Salle while also tallying 12 saves and two steals in an 11-8 win over La Salle.
Fordham (9-2) returns to action on Saturday, September 28, as they host George Washington (10:00 a.m.) and Johns Hopkins (4:30 p.m.) in conference matches in the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatics Center.
