Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham sophomore linebacker Ryan Greenhagen was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced today. It is the second straight weekly honor of the season for Greenhagen.
 
In a 45-10 loss at Stony Brook on Saturday, Greenhagen led the Fordham defense with 12 total tackles, ten solo, including two for loss and one sack, while also forcing one fumble.  
 
On the season, Greenhagen leads the Rams with 42 total tackles, 27 solo, including 6.0 for loss, both second best in the Patriot League.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, September 28, as they host the University of Richmond Spiders on Jack Coffey Field at 1:00 p.m.
