Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2019 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by traveling to Stony Brook, N.Y., to face the Stony Brook University Seawolves in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium on Saturday, September 21, at 6:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on FloSports with Jonny Wincott (p-b-p), Erik Coleman (color), and Ariel Epstein (sidelines) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Dominic Capone (p-b-p), Devin Clementi (color) and Chris Boccia (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 1-2 record, following a 29-14 win at Bryant University last Saturday, while Stony Brook is 2-1 on the year, following a 26-10 win over Wagner in LaValle Stadium last week.

This will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Stony Brook on the gridiron with the Seawolves leading the all-time series, 2-1. The Seawolves took last year's meeting, 28-6, on Jack Coffey Field on September 15 behind Jordan Gowins who rushed for 162 yards and one score.

Ryan Greenhagen and junior kicker
Andrew Mevis were named Patriot League Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively.

Glenn Cunningham has 33.5 career tackles for loss, sixth all-time at Fordham.

• The game will be Fordham's first on Long Island since a 1994 contest at Hofstra.

• Last year, Fordham ranked last in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards/game, averaging just 50.7 yards/contest.

• Through two games in 2019, the Rams are averaging 184.0 yards/game on the ground, second best among Patriot League schools.

• The 2019 Fordham Rams are a young squad, with just eight seniors on the roster.

• Only two of those seniors started the first game of the year (captains

Jesse Bramble).
