Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham sophomore quarterback Tim DeMorat was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today. It is the first weekly honor of the season for the Merritt Island, Florida, native, and the fourth in his career.
 
In a 26-23 loss to Central Connecticut State University on Saturday on Jack Coffey Field, DeMorat completed 17 of 27 passes for 194 yards and three touchdowns, the final touchdown a pinpoint strike to freshman Dequece Carter on fourth down from the CCSU 13 with 1:53 remaining that tied the game at 23.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, September 7, as they travel to Muncie, Indiana, to face the Ball State University Cardinals at 2:00 p.m.
