Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham football squad held its second scrimmage of 2019 fall camp with both sides of the ball showing improvement as the Rams prepare for their season opener in two weeks.
 
The offense came out and scored on the first possession before the defense picked things up, forcing a couple of turnovers, including a fumble recovery for a score.
 
On the day, the offense scored five touchdowns while the defense recovered two fumbles and intercepted a pass.
 
Fordham opens the 2019 season on Saturday, August 31, as the Rams host Central Connecticut State University on Jack Coffey Field at 6:00 p.m. Season and individual game tickets are available through the Fordham Athletic Ticket Office.
