CRCA Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. – Three members of the Fordham University rowing squad were named to the All-Atlantic 10 Conference team by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).  Named to the first team were sophomore Aleksa Bjornson and senior Erin Parker named to first team while senior Caroline Roncinske was placed on the second team.
 
All three rowers competed with the Fordham varsity 8, a boat which closed out the season with a third place showing at the Atlantic 10 Championships, leading the Rams to a third place finish at the championships. Prior to the Atlantic 10 Championship, the varsity 8 finish second in the Final 2 race at the Dad Vail Regatta.
 
Parker earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors this spring while Roncinske earned Second Team All-A-10 honors.
 
Bjornson was also recently honored as the Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses Hometown Sports Hero on WPRI-TV in her home state of Rhode Island.
