Atlantic 10 Release

Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham University sophomore Max Green was named Atlantic 10 Men's Co-Player of the Week for the week ending February 24 it was announced by the league office today. It is the first weekly award of the year for Green, who shares it with Davidson's Camden Mazzoni.
 
In two matches on the week, Green went 2-0 in singles action and 1-1 in doubles play.
 
In a 5-2 win over Hofstra last Friday, Green defeated Coco Haener in straight sets at third singles, 6-1 and 6-3, and teamed with Finn Kemper to take first doubles from Haener and Shawn Jackson, 6-4.
 
In Fordham's other match on the week, a 6-1 loss, to Brown on Saturday, Green provided the Fordham point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Roger Chou at second singles.
 
The Rams return to action on Saturday, March 2, as they travel to Delaware to face the University of Delaware at 6:00 p.m.
