Newport News, Va. - (February 12, 2019) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly swimming awards on Tuesday with Fordham sophomore
Noelle Theodoulou (Bedford, N.H./Trinity) being named the Women's Performer of the Week, while freshman
Alexia Hodorski (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep) earned Co-Rookie of the Week honors. Hodorski shared the award with Duquesne's Sawyer Weitzel.
At this past weekend's NYU Invitational, Theodoulou placed first in the 100 freestyle in 54.08 seconds, after posting a season-best time of 53.61 in the preliminiaries. She also took fourth in the 500 freestyle at 5:18.17, and fourth in the 200 freestyle in 1:56.57.
Hodorski also won an event at the NYU Invitational, taking the top spot in the 50 freestyle in 24.58 seconds. She was also second to Theodoulou in the 100 freestyle in 54.23 seconds, while being sixth in the 200 freestyle (2:04.77).
The Rams now have their sights set on the Atlantic 10 Championship, which will take place at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, February 20-23.
