Swimming & Diving Gets Split with Fairfield

Women Defeat Stags, 172-128; Men Fall by 176.5-128.5 Score

Bronx, N.Y. – (November 1, 2025) – The Fordham swimming & diving teams earned a split of its dual meet with the Fairfield Stags on Saturday afternoon at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.

WOMEN'S MEET

The Rams defeated Fairfield, 172-128.
Fordham won eight individual events on Saturday, led by Saskia Aikman taking first in the 100 backstroke (57.47) and the 100 freestyle (52.45).
Hayley Clark (1000 freestyle -10:20.12), Ella Mongtomery (200 butterfly – 2:07.01), Lexi Lundell (50 freestyle – 24.41), Karina Kanary (200 IM – 2:06.51), Katie Laverty (1M Dive – 264.00), and Dani O'Kelly (3M Dive – 283.35) also earned event wins.
In the relays, Fordham took first in the 200 medley relay with Aikman, Magdalena Wlodarkiewicz, Montgomery, and Lundell posting a time of 1:45.56, as did the 400 freestyle relay of Hope Nolan, Aikman, Montgomery, and Therese Enriquez in 3:34.25.

MEN'S MEET

Fordham fell to Fairfield by a 176.5-128.5 score.
The Rams won five individual events on Saturday, led by David Vargas winning both diving events with scores of 362.40 (1M) and 293.85 (3M).
Kevin Yum took the top spot in the 1000 freestyle in 9:47.15, while Quinn MacPhail won the 500 freestyle in 4:36.45.
Max Maycher was the final individual winner, posting a top time of 50.42 seconds in the 100 butterfly.
In the relays, Fordham won the 200 medley relay, as Daniel Ribeiro, David Topi, Misha Semenov, and Maycher posted a time of 1:31.09.

The Rams are next in action on Friday, November 7^th, when the Rams travel to Boston College for a 4:00 PM meet.
