Bridgeport, Pa. – (December 17, 2019) - The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) announced the 2019 ACWPC Division I Men's Varsity All-America Team on Tuesday.  Among those honored were Fordham senior Jake Miller-Tolt (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) and sophomores Bailey O'Mara (Darien, Conn.) and Dimitris Koukias (Athens, Greece), who all received Honorable Mention All-America honors.

Fordham was one of ten school nationally to have at least three players selected to the All-America Team, joining Stanford (seven), UC-Santa Barbara (six), USC (six ), Pepperdine (five), Harvard (four), Cal (four), UCLA (four), Brown (three), and Pacific (three).

Miller-Tolt earned his second straight nod to the ACWPC All-America Team, after earning All-MAWPC East honors for the fourth straight season, as well as his third consecutive First Team accolade.  He set the school record for goals in a season with a career-high 114, cracking the 100-goal mark for the second time.  He was also a two-time MAWPC Offensive Player of the Week honoree.  Miller-Tolt added 67 assists and 20 blocks, which were both team-highs with his 57 steals ranking second on the squad.  He also notched a team-high 26 goals with the man-advantage.  This year, Miller-Tolt became the modern day career leader at Fordham in goals (351), assists (220), points (571), steals (296), and field blocks (71).

For O'Mara and Koukias, this is their first All-America honor.

O'Mara moved up to First Team All-MAWPC East in 2019 after a stellar sophomore campaign.  A six-time Defensive Player of the Week selection this season, he set the Rams' single season record for total saves with 351, surpassing the mark of 311 by Noah LeBeau in 2014.  He also finished third on the team in steals with 47 to go with 11 assists and nine penalty blocks.

Koukias earned his first All-MAWPC East honor in 2019, garnering Second Team accolades.  Fighting through an injury for most of the season, he still managed to set career-highs with 70 goals and 12 assists for 82 points.  He ranked second on the team in both goals and points in 2019 and was a two-time Offensive Player of the Week selection.
