Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Fordham squash squad closed out the weekend with a 7-2 win over Northeastern University at the Vassar Round Robin.

With the win, the Rams stay unbeaten at 3-0 on the season.

Fordham dropped the first two flights but then picked up wins at the third through ninth positions for the win.

Griffin Fitzgerald defeated Alexander Swenson in a marathon match at the third position, 11-13, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8, 11-6, while
Winthrop Reed IV needed four games to defeat Ben Rush at the fourth, 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8.

The remaining matches all finished in three games with
Tommy White taking down Rohin Agrawal at the fifth spot, 11-9, 11-4, 12-10;
Jacob Bennett defeating Vanel Joseph at the sixth position, 11-6, 11-7, 11-3;
Justin George upending William Wallace at the seventh flight, 11-3, 11-2, 11-3;
Justin Deckoff dropping Arnav Aggarwal at the eighth position, 11-6, 11-5, 11-4; and
Caleb Schumacher taking care of Jonathan Lau at the ninth spot, 11-3, 11-8, 11-5.

The Rams return to action on Friday, November 8, as they travel to Baltimore to face Johns Hopkins University at 2:00 p.m.
