Annapolis, Md. – (November 10, 2019) – The Fordham squash team wrapped up play at the Navy Round Robin on Sunday morning with a 7-2 win over Georgetown.
With the win, Fordham moved to 7-2 on the season.
The Rams won the second through eighth slot matches against the Hoyas, led by
Patrick Rodden defeating Rich Burke, 11-2, 12-10, and 11-5, at second position, while
Griffin Fitzgerald knocked off Luca Perper at third position, 12-10, 11-7, and 11-7.
Tommy White earned the win at the fourth slot over Michael Keane in four games (11-9, 11-4, 13-15, 11-9) with
Jacob Bennett taking a fifth slot win over Max Sodi in five games (2-11, 7-11, 11-9, 11-2, 11-7).
Justin Deckoff (6
th – 12-10, 11-2, 11-8),
Dylan Panichello (7
th – 11-8, 7-11, 15-13, 11-9), and
Caleb Schumacher (8
th – 11-3, 11-3, 11-3) completed the win for Fordham with victories over Alexander Siebel, Alex Luo, and Jack Yuen, respectively.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Friday, November 15
th, when the Rams host Stanford at 6:00 PM on the Lombardi Center Squash Courts.
