Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2019 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by traveling to New Haven, Conn., to face the Yale University Bulldogs in the Yale Bowl on Saturday, October 5, at 1:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ (and televised on NESN) with Josh Hess (p-b-p) and Adam Breneman (color) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Emmanuel Berbari (p-b-p), Devin Clementi (color) and Jimmy Sullivan (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 2-3 record, following a 23-16 win over the University of Richmond last Saturday on Jack Coffey Field, while Yale 2-0 on the year, following a 27-16 Ivy League win over Cornell University in the Yale Bowl last Saturday.

This will be the tenth meeting between Fordham and Yale on the gridiron with the Bulldogs leading the all-time series, which started in 1950, 6-3. Yale won the most recent matchup, a 41-10 victory on Jack Coffey Field on September 30, 2017.

Ryan Greenhagen and junior running back
Zach Davis were named Patriot League Defensive and Offensive Player of the Week, respectively, following the Richmond game, the third straight weekly award for Greenhagen.

Glenn Cunningham has 34.0 career tackles for loss, sixth all-time at Fordham.

Joe Conlin was the offensive coordinator for the Bulldogs the last time Fordham and Yale met on the gridiron.

• Last year, Fordham ranked last in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards/game, averaging just 50.7 yards/contest.

• Through five games in 2019, the Rams are averaging 156.2 yards/game on the ground, second best among Patriot League schools.
