Women's Results
Bronx, N.Y. – (October 11, 2019) – The Fordham women's cross country team has a solid showing on Friday morning at the 2019 Metropolitan Cross Country Championship, placing second in the team standings at Van Cortlandt Park.
Fordham scored 72 points to finish second behind only Rutgers' 53 points. Columbia took third at 85 points, followed by St. John's (88), Seton Hall (109), Manhattan (111), NJIT (190), NYIT (226), and Saint Peter's (265).
Individually, Columbia's Sofia Camacho crossed the line first in a winning time of 18:19.1, followed by Rutgers' Olympia Martin in 18:19.5.
Fordham's
Sydney Snow and
Alexandra Thomas were the next two finishers, taking third (18:38.6) and fourth (18:40.1), respectively.
Katarzyna Krzyzanowski was the next Ram across in the line in 18
th (19:49.3), followed by
Bridget Alex in 20
th (19:52.9) and
Taylor Mascetta in 27
th (20:03.3). The top seven for Fordham was rounded out by
Nicoleta Papavasilakis in 34
th (20:13.5) and
Sarah Raubenheimer in 36
th (20:17.2).
