Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University Rams continue their 2019 season, Fordham's 119th varsity season, by traveling to Washington, D.C., to open Patriot League play by facing the Georgetown University Hoyas on Cooper Field on Saturday, October 12, at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network with Jeremy Huber (p-b-p), Joel Kimpela (color), and Kelsey Nelson (sidelines) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and wfuvsports.org with Dominic Capone (p-b-p), Jimmy Sullivan (color), and Nick DeLuca (sidelines) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 2-4 record, following a 48-24 loss at Yale University last Saturday, while Georgetown is 4-1 on the year, following a 14-8 win at Cornell University last Saturday.

This will be the 66th meeting between Fordham and Georgetown on the gridÂiron with the Rams leading the all-time series, which started in 1889, 39-23-3. Georgetown won last year's matchup, 23-11, on Jack Coffey Field on October 6 as Herman Moultrie III ran for two touchdowns. The Rams had taken the previous six meetings, including a 17-9 win in Washington, D.C., in 2017 as
Austin Longi caught 13 passes for 150 yards and one score,
Andrew Mevis connected on three field goals, and
Luke Medlock completed 25 of 45 passes for 258 yards.

• Sophomore linebacker
Ryan Greenhagen is second in the Patriot League in tackles/game (11.2) and tackles for loss/game (1.9).

• On the FCS level, Greenhagen leads the nation in solo tackles/game (7.8) and is seventh in total tackles/game and ninth in tackles for loss/game.

• Junior linebacker
Glenn Cunningham has 34.0 career tackles for loss, sixth all-time at Fordham.

• With his eleven passing touchdowns this year, Fordham sophomore quarterback
Tim DeMorat brings his career total to 22, good for eleventh on the Fordham career list.

• Last year, Fordham ranked last in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards/game, averaging just 50.7 yards/contest.

• This year the Rams are averaging 136.2 yards/game on the ground, second best among Patriot League schools.

• The 2019 Fordham Rams are a young squad, with just eight seniors on the roster.
