Annendale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – (January 27, 2019) – The Fordham squash team wrapped up a busy weekend on Sunday, earning a pair of wins over Bard and Siena to extend its win streak to four matches.
With the win, Fordham is now 16-5 on the season.
The Rams began Sunday with a 7-2 win over Bard College, and then followed with a 7-0 sweep of Siena.
Griffin Fitzgerald led the way with a pair of victories, defeating Bard's Theo Webb at the third position, 11-8, 11-4, and 11-4, while taking down Siena's #1 player Tucker Tavarone, 11-6, 11-8, and 11-5.

Justin Esposito,
Will Beatrez, and
Dylan Panichello also earned two wins each on Sunday.
William Douglass and
George Holiat also recorded one win each with Douglass' win coming against Bard and Holiat's against Siena.

Panichello finished a fantastic weekend, where he went 5-0 overall. He topped Bard's Marko Jukic at the ninth slot, 11-7, 11-4, and 11-7, and then knocked off Siena's sixth slot player, Eric LaPointe, 11-2, 11-4, and 11-3.
Deckoff earned wins over Siena's #2 player Jimmy Weimer, 11-4, 11-7, and 11-2, and Bard's #5 player Simon Nichoson, 11-3, 11-8, and 11-8, while Reed defeated Bard's Alex Luscher at sixth postion (11-1, 11-5, and 11-3) and Siena's George Sileo (11-1, 11-1, 11-1) at third position.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Saturday, February 9
th, when the Rams host their home finale against NYU at 2:00 PM.
