Women’s Tennis Falls to Bethune-Cookman

Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Fordham women's tennis team fell at Bethune-Cookman 5-2 at the City Island Tennis Center on Tuesday.

After dropping the doubles point, the Rams looked to battle back in singles play as Gianna Insogna defeated Phatsimo Ruele 6-1, 6-3 in fifth singles and Whitney Weisberg won by default at sixth singles but it wouldn't be enough as the Wildcats took the remaining singles points to secure the match.

The Rams return to action Thursday March 29 as they travel to Washington D.C. to take on conference foe George Washington.
