Boston, Mass. – (February 9-11, 2018) – In the team's final round robin weekend before the CSA Team Championship in two weeks, the Fordham squash team got back on track with a clean sweep of the Northeastern Round Robin in Boston, Massachusetts.
In the opening match of the weekend, Fordham took down host Northeastern by an 8-1 score.
Leading the way was
Peter Yuen, who swept his second position against Connor Rouan, 11-4, 12-10, and 11-7, while
John Lennon earned a three-game win over Will Greaves-Tunnell at third position, 11-9, 11-7, and 11-6.
The Rams would add six more sweeps to finish off the win, as
Bruce Czachor,
Griffin Fitzgerald,
Tommy White,
Justin Deckoff,
Will Beatrez, and
Justin Esposito won from the fourth through ninth slots.
On Saturday, it was a pair of 9-0 wins, as Fordham knocked off Boston College and Brandeis.

Then on Sunday, Fordham completed the perfect weekend with its second win over Boston University this season. After defeating the Terriers, 8-1, in November, the Rams knocked off BU, 9-0 on Sunday.
After picking up a default point as the Terrier only had eight players, Fordham earned three-game sweeps from Yuen, Czachor, Fitzgerald, White, Deckoff, and Beatrez. Lennon needed four games to dispense Zain Motiwala at third position, 11-8, 11-5, 9-11, and 11-3, as did
Will Pantle, who moved up to the #1 slot this weekend, topping Hunter Chun, 13-11, 10-12, 11-9 and 11-3.
The Rams will now play in the CSA Team Championship, February 23-25, which will be in Hartford, Connecticut.
