Bridgeport, Pa. – (November 13, 2018) - The CWPA's Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) weekly awards were released on Tuesday with Fordham freshman utility/2M player Dimitris Koukias (Athens, Greece) taking Rookie of the Week honors.  This is Koukias' second weekly award of the year.
 
Koukias scored twice and added three steals, helping the Rams to an 11-8 win in the annual Judge Cup game against Iona on Saturday night.
 
For the year, Koukias now has 35 goals this season, which is tied for fourth on the squad, while his 29 steals are sixth on the team.
 
The Fordham water polo team will next be in action on Friday, November 16^th, as the Rams open play at the 2018 MAWPC Championship, which will be hosted at Fordham's Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.  The Rams will be in the 4-5 match against Navy, starting at 4:30 pm.
