Baltimore, Md. – (November 11, 2018) – The Fordham squash team had its second week of action this weekend in Maryland, taking part in the Navy Round Robin in Annapolis.
Prior to the Navy Round Robin, the Rams kicked off the weekend on Friday afternoon with a 9-0 win at Johns Hopkins.
Patrick Rodden led the way at the #1 slot, defeating Rahul Reddy in three games, 11-3, 18-16, and 11-9.

th), and
George Holiat (9
th) also posted three game wins over the Blue Jays.
Griffin Fitzgerald and
Tommy White both need four games to earn their wins at the second and third positions, while Winthrop Reed had to fight off Preston Coffin in five games for the win (11-8, 7-11, 11-5, 7-11, 13-11).
The Rams then made their way over to Annapolis for a Friday night match with Navy. The Midshipmen took a 9-0 victory over Fordham, as Navy won all nine matches in three games.
Fordham would rebound on Saturday, opening the morning with an 8-1 win over Boston University. Seven Rams captured their match in three games, led by Rodden with an 11-4, 12-10, and 13-11 win over Parker Tonissi.
However the rest of Saturday would not go Fordham's way, falling to Haverford by an 8-1 count and to Western Ontario, 9-0. The lone win against Haverford came from Poehlein, who defeated Alden Weinberg in four games, 11-4, 12-10, 4-11, and 11-4.
On Sunday, the Rams capped the weekend with an 8-1 win over the Navy "B" team.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Friday, November 30
th, when the Rams host Virginia at 6:00 PM.
