Providence, R.I. – The Fordham men's tennis team fell to Brown 6-1 at the Pizzitola Sports Center on Saturday.
Fordham opened the match dropping the doubles point as
Finn Kemper and
Jeremy Chung fell to Jacob Haworth and Jack Walker 6-1 in second doubles and
Max Green and
Allen Thornes lost to Peter Tarwid and Tedd van Eck 7-6 at the third position.
Lutwin de Macar and
Fabian Hansch Mauritzson were tied 6-6 at first doubles when their match was halted.
Hansch Mauritzson picked up the lone win for the Rams in singles play, defeating Ching Lam 6-7, 6-4, 12-10 in third singles.
The Rams return to action Friday February 2 as they travel to Latham, N.Y. to take on Siena.
