Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team returned to Hawthorn Rooney Courts for the first time this spring, defeating Hunter College 6-1 this afternoon.

The Rams started the match well sweeping the doubles point as Nick Borak and Joseph Kavaloski defeated Florimond Le Goupil-Maier and Nasser Ghaffar 6-1 in first doubles, Steven Duka and Fabian Mauritzson defeated David Joseph and Joel Cantila 6-1 in second doubles and Harris Durkovic and Cameron Posillico beat Hamza Sadhra and Filip Koritysskiy 6-1 in third doubles.

The Rams continued their hot streak in singles play as Jeremy Chung defeated Florimond Le Goupil-Maier 6-4, 6-1 in first singles, Steven Duka beat Nasser Ghaffar 6-4, 6-2 in second singles, Cameron Posillico defeated David Joseph 6-4, 6-2 in fourth singles, Harris Durkovic bested Filip Koritysskiy 6-0, 6-2 in fifth singles and Gabriel Mashaal cruised past Ryan Hwang 6-0, 6-1 in sixth singles.

The Rams return to action Friday March 31 as they host Yeshiva University at Hawthorn Rooney Courts at 12 PM.
