Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams held their third and final scrimmage of the 2016 fall camp today on Jack Coffey Field as the Rams gear up for the season opener next Saturday, September 3, at Navy.
 
Here are some notes from the scrimmage:
 
The defense had another strong showing, recording five sacks and a couple of pass breakups.
 
Luke Medlock got the offense on the score board with a 34-yard scoring strike to Robbie Cantelli.
 
Kevin Anderson also threw a touchdown pass to Austin Longi but the officials blew the play dead on a sack.
 
Medlock was 4-for-5 passing on the day while Anderson was 6-for-9.
 
Joe Pavlik had great outing punting the ball, placing most of his kicks inside the 20, including one that was downed inside the five.
 
Makay Redd (27 yards) and Kyle Facibene (34 yards) each connected on a field goal.
 
At the team meeting on Wednesday night, the Rams unveiled the new uniforms for 2016.
