Bronx, N.Y. - Day four of the  2016 Fordham football camp is in the book so it's time to start with a position-by-position breakdown of the Rams, starting with the quarterbacks.

The biggest change at the quarterback position isn't a player, it's a coach. With the promotion of Andrew Breiner to head coach in December, Joe Davis was added to the staff as the pass game coordinator/quarterbacks coach. Davis joins Fordham after spending last season as of the offensive coordinator at Northern Iowa where he helped the Panthers advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA FCS Championship and a number six ranking in the final FCS polls. The Panthers' offense established a school record for rushing yards in a season (3,266) and for the first time in school history produced a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in the same season. The Northern Iowa offense ranked 12th nationally in first downs and 15th in rushing yards per game.

The signal calling duties will be in the capable hands, and feet, of senior Kevin Anderson, who moved into the starting lineup last fall with great success, completing 229 of 342 passes for 3,183 yards and 32 touchdowns. Anderson led the Patriot League and was third in NCAA FCS in passing touchdowns (32) and passing efficiency (170.2) and he led the League and was fifth in the NCAA FCS in completion percentage (67.0).

On the ground, Anderson rushed 158 times for 341 yards and one score, including setting a school record for quarterbacks with a 115-yard rushing game against Holy Cross.

Also back is junior Luke Medlock, who served as Anderson's backup last year. In four games he completed four of five passes for 59 yards, including connecting on two of three passes for 27 yards in the Liberty Cup win over Columbia.

The other three quarterbacks on the roster have not seen varsity action but all arrived at Fordham with outstanding credentials. Sophomore Colton Smith was a First Team All-State Class LL Coaches selection and a First Team MSG Varsity All-Connecticut pick at Fairfield Prep in 2014.

Sophomore Jalen Ollie threw for 1,949 yards, and 19 touchdowns in 2014 at Avon Old Farms School, setting a school record for most touchdown passes in a season and most passing yards in a season.

Junior Clayton Welsh earned All-League honors as a senior at Sunset High School in Portland, Oregon, where he also served as a team captain.
