IRA Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University lightweight rowers Catherine Napoli, Leslie Fung and Maura O'Donnell were all recently honored by being named to the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic Team for the 2015-16 academic year.
 
To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner and competed at the 2016 IRA National Championship Regatta. 
 
All three rowers were also recently named recipients of the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) scholar athlete awards.
 
The three rowers were a part of the Fordham lightweight 4 that placed second in the petite final at the IRA Championships on June 5. Fung and O'Donnell were also members of the winning Fordham lightweight 4 at the Princeton Chase last November.
