Princeton, N.J. – The Fordham men's track and field squad competed in the IC4A Championships at Princeton University's Weaver Stadium over the weekend where
Brian Cook was the top finisher for the Rams, placing third in the 3000m steeplechase.
Cook placed third in the steeplechase in a season-best time of 8:52.11, shaving over six seconds off the Rams' previous season-high.
Jonathan Annelli also scored in the steeplechase for the Rams, placing seventh in 8:55.30, his fastest steeplechase time of the year.
Other competitors for the Rans included
Thomas Slattery, who took eleventh in the 5000m in a season-best time of 14:38.03,
Louis Santelli, who was third in his heat and 19th overall in 800m preliminaries in 1:52.79, and
Jared Benn, who placed sixth in his heat and 22nd overall in the 400m preliminaries in 50.22 and
Nicholas Regan who took 18th in the javelin (169' 1").
The Rams also had a relay running today as the 4x800 team of
Nik O'Brien,
Fritz Heinrich,
Michael Campbell and
Ryan McGann placed tenth in 7:48.53.
