Fordham Game Notes Bronx, N.Y. - The Fordham University football Rams continue their 2015 home season as they host the Monmouth University Hawks on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday, September 26, at 1:00 p.m.
The game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUVsports.org with Drew Casey (p-b-p), Corey Miller (color) and Matt Moro (sidelines) handling the announcing chores. The game will also be carried on SiriusXM channel 204 with Dennis Jones (p-b-p) and Mike Walker (analyst) announcing.
#16 Fordham, the 2014 Patriot League champions, enters the game with a 2-1 record after a 44-24 Liberty Cup win over Columbia on Jack Coffey Field last Saturday. Monmouth enters the game with a 1-2 record after a 31-16 win at Wagner College on Saturday.
The game will be just the second ever meeting between the two teams with the Hawks taking the first matchup 23-9 in 2006.
A few notes on the game:
The Rams are 18-2 at home since 2012, winning 18 of the 20 home contests over the past three-plus years, including the 15 of the last 16. The 18 wins are third most among NCAA FCS team while Fordham's .900 winning percentage is second best.

The scout team players of the week were announced following practice on Wednesday:
James Orfini (offense for defense),
Bryce Petty(defense for the offense) and
Chris Geissler (special teams).
The guest coaches for the game will be John Carroll, associate vice president for security services, and Dan Kiley, director of Rose Hill security services.
The Fordham University Rams are one of three NCAA FCS teams to have two wins over an FBS opponent since 2013, joining North Dakota State and Bethune-Cookman.
No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 30 victories over that stretch. The closest competitor is Rutgers, who has 24 wins over the past three-plus years while the NFL's Giants (who play more games in a season than the Rams) have 22 and the Jets 19.
Despite having played in only 17 career games, sophomore running back
Chase Edmonds is already in the top eight on the Fordham career rushing yards and rushing touchdown lists. His 125 rushing yards last week against Columbia brings his career total to 2,163, eighth on the Fordham career rushing list while his rushing touchdown gives him four on the year and 27 in his career, tied for fourth most in school history.
