Steve Sholdra (Renton, Wash./H.B. Education (Wash.) was recognized for his athletic and academic accomplishments on Wednesday, as he was selected to the 2015 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference for men's swimming and diving in a vote by the conference's Sports Information Directors.

It is the 14th time over the past 15 years that Fordham had at least one student-athlete named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team. This is also the second straight season that Sholdra has been named to the All-Academic Team for the league.
Sholdra, an International Political Economy major with a 3.78 GPA major, won the 400 individual medley event at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship in a school-record time of 3:52.72. He also placed second in the 200 butterfly in a school-record time of 1:47.93 at the Championship, as well as third in the 1650 freestyle event.

Out of those times, Sholdra recorded NCAA "B" cut times in the 200 butterfly (1:47.93) and 1650 freestyle (15:27.55) at the Atlantic 10 Championships.
