Squash Falls to Georgetown, 6-3

Annapolis, Md. – The Fordham squash team closed out play at the Navy Round Robin on Sunday with a 6-3 loss to Georgetown.
 
The Rams won at the first three positions as Kincade Webster defeated Austin Dixon at the first position in straight sets, 11-7, 11-5, 11-8, while Peter Yuen upended Matt Williams in a hard fought match at the second position, dropping the first set, 10-12, winning the next two, 11-3 and 11-4 but dropping the fourth,  11-81. Yuen came back to take the fifth set, 11-7.

At the third position, Fordham's Jeremy Keller defeated Georgetown's Nick Bowell, 11-6, 11-7, 12-10.
 
The Rams almost picked up another point and number four as John Lennon took George Paolella to four sets, dropping the first two, 12-10 and 11-6 but taking the third, 11-7. Paolella then finished the match with a 11-5 win.

James Potts also took his Georgetown opponent (Mike Ficca) to a fourth set, losing the first two, 11-3 and 11-4, before taking the third, 12-10. But Ficca came back to win the fourth, 11-5.

Fordham returns to action on Friday, November 13, as the Rams host NYU in the Lombardi Center at 7:00 p.m.
