Â
The Rams have now been ranked in the top 25 for 37 straight weeks.
Â
No New York area football team has won more games since 2012 than Fordham, who has amassed 36 victories over that stretch. The closest competitor is Rutgers, who has 26 wins over the past three-plus years while the NFL's Giants (who play more games in a season than the Rams) have 26 and the Jets 22.

Chase EdmondsSophomore running back
Chase Edmonds is leading all of the NCAA Division I (FBS and FCS) in rushing yards (1,393) and rushing touchdowns (18) so far in 2015. He is also second in the NCAA FCS in rushing yards per game (174.1) so far in 2015, third among all NCAA Division I rushers (Leonard Fournette of LSU is averaging 193.1 while Lamar's Kade Harrington is averaging 194.0).

Makay Redd were named Corvias Patriot League Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Week, respectively, following last week's Lehigh game. In Fordham's 59-42 Patriot League win over Lehigh on Jack Coffey Field, Edmonds broke both the Patriot League and Fordham single game rushing record, carrying 31 times for 347 yards and three touchdowns. Edmonds' 347 rushing yards easily surpassed the former Fordham school record of 272 yards set by Chip Kron against Georgetown in 1985 and was 43 yards better than the former Patriot League mark of 304 yards set by Lafayette's Ross Scheuerman against Lehigh in 2014. The 347 yards also ties Edmonds with Lamar's Kade Harrington for most rushing yards in a game in the NCAA Division I (both FBS and FCS) this year. Edmonds, who ran for scores from 9, 60 and 75 yards, also caught two passes for 55 yards and a score to bring his all-purpose yards total to 402, breaking his own Patriot League record of 385 all-purpose yards set in last year's NCAA Championship game at New Hampshire.
Redd connected on a 37-yard field goal in the second quarter and converted on all eight of his PATs to account for eleven points and receive his third Corvias Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week honor in 2015.
