BRONX, N.Y. -  The Fordham University Rams continue the 2025 Patriot League season, Fordham's 125th varsity season, by traveling to Richmond, Va., to take on the University of Richmond Spiders at Robins Stadium on Saturday, November 1, at 2:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ with Bob Black (p-b-p) and Chris Anderson (analyst), and Tamara Brown (sidelines) announcing and broadcast live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and the WFUV YouTube channel with Chris Carrino (p-b-p) and Tucker Austin (analyst) handling the announcing chores.

Fordham enters the game with a 1-7 record, 1-3 in the Patriot League, and is coming off a 27-6 League loss to Lehigh at Moglia Stadium last Saturday while Richmond enters with a 4-4 overall record, 1-3 in the Patriot League following a 28-22 home Patriot League loss to Holy Cross on October 18.

It will be the fourth meeting between Fordham and Richmond on the gridiron with the all-time series tied, 1-1-1. The Spiders joined the Patriot League this fall after playing in the CAA since 2007. Fordham took the most recent meeting, 23-16 in 2019 at Moglia Stadium and Tim DeMorat threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third

A few notes on the game:
• Richmond is in its first year as a football member of the Patriot League after competing in the CAA (like the Rams, the Spiders are full members of the Atlantic 10 Conference for most other sports).

Campbell Trophy®, college football's premier scholar-athlete award that annually recognizes an individual as the absolute best in the nation for his combined academic success, football performance, and exemplary leadership

• Conway has 555 career stops for Conway the most for an active NCAA Division I student-athlete and a new NCAA FCS record (former mark was 550 set by Boomer Grigsby of Illinois State).

• Conway leads all NCAA Division I tacklers with 119 on the season.

• Fordham junior quarterback Gunnar Smith is enjoying a successful first season for the Rams.

• Smith has completed 171 of 296 passes for 1,959 yards and ten touchdowns.

• He leads the Patriot League and is 15th in the NCAA FCS in passing yards/game (244.9), lead the League and is eighth in the NCAA FCS in completions per game (21.38), and is fourth in the conference in points responsible for per game (10.8).

• In three-plus years, grad student punter Will Haslett has punted 181 times, seventh on the all-time list, for 7,727 yards, fourth on the Rams' career list.

• Fordham is represented by five captains in 2025: senior tight end Jaden Allen, grad student linebacker James Conway, senior defensive back Alex Kemper, senior offensive linemen Duke Leonard, and senior defensive lineman Claudy Robinson.
