Chase Edmonds was named both The Sports Network NCAA FCS National Rookie of the Week and the Corvias Patriot League Rookie of the Week it was announced by the league today. Additionally, quarterback
Mike Nebrich was the College Sports Madness Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week.

Edmonds had a record-breaking debut for the Rams in Saturday's 52-23 win over Saint Francis University on Jack Coffey Field, rushing for 181 yards on 19 carries with two scores, setting the school freshman mark for rushing yards in a game. His touchdown runs were of four and five yards. Edmonds also returned three kickoffs for 119 yards, taking the opening kickoff 65 yards to get things off on the right foot for Fordham.

Nebrich completed 11 of 26 passes for 188 yards and three scores, connecting on scoring strikes of three, 23 and 35 yards on the night.

Joining Edmonds in being honored by the Patriot League was sophomore defensive lineman
Marlon Crook, Jr., who notched seven tackles and 2.5 sacks in the game.

The Rams return to action on Saturday as they travel to Villanova, Pa., to face the Villanova University Wildcats in Villanova Stadium at 3:30 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast live on the American Sports Network.
