Former Rams Continue to Shine in NFL Training Camps

Greg Wilson catches first NFL pass

Bronx, N.Y. (August 18, 2014) - The three former Fordham University football Rams currently in NFL camps all enjoyed successful preseason games this past weekend, led by Greg Wilson who caught his first NFL pass.
 
Wilson, a wide receiver with the Denver Broncos, caught three passes for 22 yards in a 34-0 win over San Francisco on Sunday. His first NFL reception came on the first play of the second half when he hauled in a five-yard pass from Brock Osweiler. He almost had his first NFL touchdown in the fourth quarter but a two-yard scoring strike from Osweiler was called back due to a penalty.
 
Isa Abdul Quddus, a defensive back with Detroit, was second on the team on with three solo stop in the Lions' loss to Oakland on Friday night.
 
Patrick Murray, a placekicker with Tampa Bay, converted on his lone kick, a PAT following a late Buccaneer touchdown.
