Men’s Tennis Falls to Concordia

Rams Take on Bucknell in Next Match

The Fordham men's tennis team was back in action on Saturday, falling to Concordia College by a 7-0 score.
 
Concordia opened the match by sweeping the doubles point.  The closest match was at second doubles, where Juuso Ojanen and Pulat Babadjanov defeated Fordham's Alistar Barnes and Michael Puntillo, 8-6.
 
In singles action, Concordia won all six matches in straight sets.  Matty Najfeld had the tightest match at second singles for Fordham.  He fell to Daniele Piludu, 6-3, 7-6. 
 
The Fordham men's tennis team will next be in action on Saturday, February 15th, as the Rams host Bucknell at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
