The Fordham squash team hosted two of its three home matches this weekend on Saturday, falling to Northeastern, 9-0, and NYU, 8-1.

In the team's first match, Northeastern earned a 9-0 win over Fordham.

The Rams were put behind the eight-ball early on, as an injury to Ross Garlick forced him to retire at the #6 slot.  Northeastern added to their lead with straight set wins at the third, fourth, fifth, and seventh slot.

Fordham's Matthew Crowe (9th), James Potts (8th), Jeremy Keller (2nd) each fell in four sets, with Kincade Webster taking his first slot match the distance against TJ Dyer.  Webster fought back from a set down twice to force the deciding fifth game.  After a lengthy final point, Dyer was able to get past Webster, 11-7, 9-11, 11-3, 9-11, and 11-7.

In match two, Fordham fell to NYU, 8-1.

The Rams played down two men in this match with the lone point coming from Keller, as he defeated NYU's Yale Kim in straight sets, 11-9, 11-6, and 11-6.

The Fordham squash team will round out the weekend with a home match against Vassar on Sunday, February 2nd, at 3:30 PM.
