Women's Soccer Travels to La Salle for Saturday Matinee

Rams Begin Three-Match Road Stretch in Phialdelphia

Live Stats

The Fordham women's soccer team begins a stretch of three road games on Saturday, when the Rams travel to Philadelphia to face off against the defending Atlantic 10 champion, La Salle Explorers.

Game time is set for 1:00 PM at McCarthy Stadium.

Fordham (6-5-1, 0-1-1 A10) is coming off a hard fought draw against George Washington, where a second half goal from Natalie Sims and five saves from goalkeeper Ally White earned the Rams a 1-1 tie.

This will be the 19th all-time meeting between Fordham and La Salle with each squad winning eight times with two ties.  Recently though, La Salle has gotten the better of the Rams, going 2-0-2 in the last four match-ups.  Three of those games ended in overtime, including a 1-0 decision last season.

La Salle is right at the top of the stadings with a 2-0 mark in Atlantic 10 play, defeating George Washington and VCU last weekend.  Overall, the Explorers are 6-4-2 and have been led by excellent play from senior forward Kelsey Haycock.  Haycock had ten goals this season, and has scored at least one goal in six of her last seven games, which includes two-goal games against both VCU and George Washington.
