Fordham Game NotesÂ
Bronx, N.Y. (October 1, 2014) - Â The Fordham University football Rams will return to the friendly confines of Jack Coffey Field to host the Lafayette College Leopards in a Patriot League game on Friday night, October 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network with Jason Horowitz on play-by-play, London Fletcher on color and Melanie Collins on the sidelines. The game can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUV.org with Mike Watts (p-b-p) and Nick Logerfo (color) handling the announcing chores and DJ Sixsmith on the sidelines.

#16/19 Fordham, 4-1 on the year, enters the game after a 45-16 Patriot League win at Holy Cross last Saturday. Lafayette, 2-2 this season, enters the contest after a 35-23 home win over Wagner last week.

The game will be the first of three CBS Sports Network appearances for Fordham (at Bucknell and at Army) as the Rams celebrate the 75
th anniversary of the first ever televised college football game when the Rams hosted Waynesburg State at Randall's Island on September 30, 1939.
As part of that celebration, a television will be raffled off to a lucky Fordham student at the game.

The Rams are sponsoring Maroon Out as all fans are encouraged to wear maroon to the game to show their support. The first 500 fans through the gate will receive a free Fordham football maroon t-shirtÂ
The Rams will be playing on a Friday night for the first time since 1992 (at Hofstra) and at home on a Friday for the first time since 1976.

This will be the 33
rd meeting between Fordham and Lafayette on the gridiron with the Leopards leading the all-time series, which started in 1903, 22-9-1

Lafayette took last year's game, 28-14, at Fisher Stadium as Ross Scheuerman rushed 23 times for 169 yards and two scores and Drew Reed completed 17 of 32 passes for 239 yards and a score, breaking Fordham's 10-game winning streak
