The Rams enter the game after a 51-26 season-opening win over Rhode Island on August 29 on Jack Coffey Field, while Villanova enters the contest after falling to Boston College, 24-14, in Boston last Saturday.

The Rams will be led into the game by junior quarterback Mike Nebrich, the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week as well as the recipient of the first Rockin' Refuel® Performance of the Week award for his outstanding outing in the Rams' win over Rhode Island.

Nebrich completed 17-of-25 passes for 267 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 31 net yards and a score in the win. He hit big plays throughout the evening, tossing touchdown strikes of 29, 4, 49 and 64 yards while running for a 32-yard touchdown. He led a Fordham offense that posted its highest point total in a home opener against an FCS team. Nebrich returned to action after missing all but three games of the 2012 season with an injury.

This will be the 28th meeting between Fordham and Villanova on the gridiron. The Wildcats lead the all-time series, 20-3-4, and took last year's meeting, 28-13, at Villanova on September 8.
