With two weeks to go before opening night, the Fordham University football squad went through a controlled scrimmage on Jack Coffey Field on Thursday night with both the offense and defense showing promise.
Â
"We got everything out of this scrimmage that we wanted," said head coach Joe Moorhead. "I liked our focus and our effort but we still have to clean up our execution. We competed and got better on both sides of the ball and I thought special teams did a good job. But there are things we have to improve on over the next two weeks to get ready for the opener."

The Rams ran through all aspects of the game including kickoff and punt returns and third down situations, ending the night with red zone drills which were fiercely contested.
