Bronx, N.Y. - As the 2012-2013 season begins to wind down, the Fordham University Athletic Department held its 79th annual Block F Awards Dinner at the Villa Barone Manor on May 1 to honor Fordham University's student-athletes for their accomplishments during the academic year.

Among those honored was junior Nicholas Allen (Norwalk, Conn./Suffield Academy) who was named the 2012 Water Polo MVP.

Allen enjoyed a breakout season offensively for the Rams, leading the team with 48 goals and 64 points on the season. He also held up strong on the defensive end, recording 22 steals and six field blocks.
