The Fordham women's cross country team made its way to Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia, on Saturday for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship. The Rams finished the day, placing ninth out of 13 teams.
Overall, Duquesne won the women's championship with a score of 53 points, followed by Richmond (73), La Salle (118), Saint Louis (119), Massachusetts (152), Saint Joseph's (154), Dayton (163), George Mason (200), Fordham (219), Rhode Island (252), St. Bonaventure (288), VCU (336), and George Washington (NTS).
The Dukes had six finishers in the top 20, which included three in the top ten. Individually, George Mason's Bethany Sachtleben won the 5K race in a time of 16:54.6. Fordham's top finisher was senior
Anisa Arsenault, who finished 23rd overall in a personal-best time of 17:58.3. Her time ranks as one of the fastest cross country times for a Rams' runner over that distance.

The Fordham cross country team will next be in action on November 15
th at the NCAA District Regional, which will be held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
