The Collegiate Water Polo Association released its weekly honor roll on Tuesday, and Fordham junior
Noah LeBeau (Long Beach, Calif./Wilson Classical) was selected as the Northern Division Player of the Week. This is the second career weekly award for LeBeau, and the second time a Fordham player has been honored this year.
The Rams' goalkeeper had a solid week, helping Fordham to a 4-3 record.
LeBeau started the week with eight saves and one steal in an 11-10 win over Iona on Wednesday. He then began Fordham's west coast swing with 18 saves at Whittier, while tallying 10 stops in 3 1/2 quarters against Mt. San Antonio College.
At the Gary Troyer Tournament, LeBeau notched 11 saves in a loss to Cal Baptist, before posting 12 saves in a win over Occidental. He capped the week with 13 saves in a loss to 18th-ranked Redlands and had five stops in three quarters in a win over La Verne. In addition, he added three penalty blocks, four more steals, and three assists.
LeBeau and the rest of the Rams have an important week ahead with two road divisional games. Fordham plays at local opponent, St. Francis (NY) on October 9
th at 7:30 PM, while taking on Brown in Providence, Rhode Island on October 12
th at 2:00 PM.
