Fresh off its win on Tuesday night, the Fordham water polo began its west coast swing on Thursday, taking on Whittier College and Mt. San Antonio College.

In the team's first match, Fordham fell to Whittier by a 12-9 count.

The Rams had their hands full, as Whittier racked up 30 shots on goals en route to a three-goal win.

For Fordham,
Nicholas Allen led the offense with four goals, while
Ben Clinkinbeard and
Ori Raz had two each.Â
Andrew Gonzalez rounded out the Fordham scoring, while in net,
Noah LeBeau had a season-high 18 saves.

In game two, Fordham rebounded against Mt. San Antonio with a 15-11 victory. With the split Fordham improved its record to 9-5 overall.

Four Rams finished with multi-goal games, led by
Davis DeFontes with five markers. Raz and Allen each had three goals with Raz adding five assists.Â
Patrick Lenihan was the final multi-goal game with two tallies, with Gonzalez and
Eric Minowitz finishing the Rams' scoring.

In goal, LeBeau made ten saves over 3 ½ quarters of play, while
Eric Mullery had two saves in the remaining time.

The Fordham water polo team will next be in action on Friday, October 5
th, as the Rams begin play at the Gary Troyer Tournament. Fordham faces Cal Baptist at 1:00 PM Eastern and Occidental at 5:00 PM Eastern.
