Annadale-on-Hudson, N.Y. - (Feb. 6, 2008) - The Fordham squash team picked up their second straight victory on Wednesday night, as they topped Bard College, 9-0. The win puts Fordham's record at 3-9 on the season.
The swept all nine matches in straight sets, led by Steve Sangiacomo and Tyler McCoy. Neither lost a single game in their respective matches, winning, 9-0, 9-0, and 9-0, at the second and ninth slots.
Jason Sherriff and Mike Hennessy were also impressive in wins, as Sherriff lost just two games total in his third slot win (9-0, 9-2, 9-0), while Hennessy allowed just four points to his opponent (9-4, 9-0, 9-0), in the top slot.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on Febraury 15-17, when they compete at the Nine-Man Intercollegiate Nationals, held in Boston, Mass.
