Philadelphia, Pa. - (Feb. 9, 2008) - The Fordham squash team earned their third straight match on Saturday, as they topped Drexel University, 5-4. The Rams improved to 4-9 on the season.
Fordham won at the third, fourth, fifth, eighth, and ninth slots against Drexel. Steve Sangiacomo and Charles Kromholz started the match with straight set victories over Ali Rehemtulla at the third spot and Akshay Singh at the fifth spot, respectively.
Jason Sherriff and James Lechleitner picked up four-set wins at the fourth slot and ninth slot, respectively, while Tolga Suvar capped the win with a straight set victory at the eighth slot.
The Fordham squash team will next be in action on February 15-17, when they compete at the Nine-Man Intercollegiate Nationals, held in Boston, Mass.
