Diego Tresa were named the MAWPC Co-Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for the week of September 7-13, it was announced today.

On the week, the fifth-ranked Rams defeated a pair of ranked teams, defeating #9 Pepperdine, 16-12, on Friday, and #11 San Jose State, 14-10, on Sunday. Both games were played in Fordham's Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.

Toth, who earned his second MAWPC weekly honor, scored seven goals and four assists along with four steals on the week. He had five goals, two assists, and one steal vs. Pepperdine and followed that with two goals, two assists, and three steals vs. San Jose State.

On the season, Toth has 15 goals and eight assists.

Tresa earns his first weekly award after holding two of the best centers in the country from Pepperdine in check in Fordham's 16-12 win. He scored one goal against Pepperdine and added four more in the win over San Jose State.

On the year, Tresa has scored eleven goals and dished out two assists.

The Rams return to action this weekend as they compete at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday, September 19. The Rams will face Bucknell, Mount St. Mary's, and Mercyhurst. All matches will be MAWPC contests.
