Washington, D.C. – (April 28, 2026) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly baseball awards on Tuesday with Fordham graduate student
Joey Donnelly (Alamo, Calif) earning Co-Player of the Week honors, sharing with Saint Joseph's Joey Pagano. It is Donnelly's first career weekly honor and marks the second straight week a Fordham player has been named Player of the Week.
Donnelly was a hitting machine this week, slashing .478/.520/.870, while adding four runs scored, three doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, and three stolen bases.
He opened the week going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI against Fairfield and followed with two hits, two stolen bases and an RBI in an extra inning win at Iona.
On the weekend, Donnelly notched two hits and two RBI on Friday against George Mason, while posting four hits and two doubles in the series finale on Sunday as Fordham swept the Patriots.
Donnelly and the rest of the Rams are next in action on Tuesday, April 28
th, when Fordham hosts Sacred Heart at 3:00 PM at Houlihan Park.
