Eva Koratsis (Beaver Dams, N.Y. Horseheads) was named the Under Armour Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week it was announced on Monday. It is the first weekly award for Koratsis this season.

On the week, Koratsis hit .417 (5-12) with one double, two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored. Her top game came in game one of a doubleheader with Rhode Island on Saturday when Koratsis went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs, the first multi-home run game of her career.

In the third game of the Rhode Island series on Sunday Koratsis was 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored. She reached base in each of her four at bats, being hit by a pitch twice.

In the three-game series with Rhode Island Koratsis hit a sizzling .625 (5-8).

On the year, Koratsis is hitting .281 (36-128) with nine doubles, three triples, five home runs and 38 RBI. She leads the Atlantic 10 in triples, is tied for sixth in home runs, sixth in RBI, eighth in slugging percentage (.543).

The Rams return to action on Wednesday, April 22, as they travel into Brooklyn to take the LIU at 3:00 PM.
